All lessons are tailored to the individual student and start with an initial scoping session between the tutor and parent/child. Once this is complete and the student’s needs and goals have been established, a personalised lesson plan is created. Our online lessons can be booked on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on the needs of the family and student, with sessions ranging from one hour to multiple hours per week depending on requirements.

FAQs
Do you cover any exam board?
Yes – our tutors have access to all the boards, papers and resources needed for specification. At A-level, the applied mathematics (statistics, mechanics etc.) can vary so it is important for us to know the board prior to lessons starting. We will always ensure that all content and questions covered are relevant to your board. From more common boards like AQA and Edexcel, to more unique boards such as OCR MEI and CCEA – we have you covered.
Do you cover pure and applied maths?
Yes! We typically recommend two hours of maths a week – one for pure and one for applied e.g., statistics and mechanics. In our experience, applied mathematics requires the most focus as it is in its nature very much problem solving as opposed to pure. We look first at the content and then move onto more simple questions to test understanding. Once the basics are covered and understood, we will look at the more typical exam-style questions.
I just don’t get maths – can you help?
Yes we can, it’s what we do. We don’t do group lessons, just tailored one-to-one lessons to make sure that you walk away from the lessons having learnt something. If you can’t do a specific topic, our expert tutors will break it down for you until you do. Not only that, but we will also work on your exam technique to ensure that you are getting the most marks, and therefore, the best grades!
